When you vote ACT Local,
you know what you're getting:
Cutting $50 million of waste

including lavish civic events, excessive consultant fees, and bloated admin costs – to stop the 5.8% rates hike and 7.2% water rates hike, so families can keep more money in their pockets.

Investing in smarter stormwater systems

near schools like Sir Edmund Hillary College, working with private contractors, and slashing permitting delays to make roads safer and protect neighbourhoods from flood risks.

Providing extra bins and lifting the inorganic collection limit

to 3 cubic metres to support larger households and reduce illegal dumping.

Partnering with private contractors and holding community forums

to prioritise and speed up upgrades to Manukau’s roads, parks, and community hubs – without increasing rates.

Ending above‑inflation rate hikes

on small businesses, cutting red tape, allowing private waste services, and fast‑tracking permits within 7 days so businesses like those in Hunters Corner can grow and create jobs.
